Moving On

I am going to feel such a mix of emotions when we go - In fact I'm feeling many of them already ...

And though Number Guy and I fully intend to keep in touch with our friends - whether they want us to or not! - I'm sure there'll be some tears from me along the way. It's been great to have my friends' reactions - delighted for me, but going to miss me, too.

But I was just a bit worried by one friend's reaction. Heather -

With the internet keeping in touch is so much easier! When do you move?

Of course I meant we'll have a party BEFORE you go as a send off - not as a celebration after you've gone ! ;0)

Any excuse for a party anyway as far as I'm concerned .... maybe we could get Andrew to organise it ??? No ?

Hopefully see you soon and I'll hear all about it :0)

Oh wow, I am all behind (not unusual for me!), how fantastic, so exciting and scary. You will need all the important yarn related German words of course... Are the yarn shops good in Zurich? Is it a permanent move India? When do you go?

Never cut those ties of friendship where-ever you may live. Often our oldest friends know us the best and are the most reliable. And if things don't work out as hoped (and I hate to say it, but sometimes they don't) these friends will be there to welcome you back and make you feel that all is ok again.

Oh no. friends can't get rid of us, even if they want to ;0) Number Guy and I frequently travel the length of the country to keep in touch with friends from school days, and those of more recent aquaintance. Of course. 'friends from schooldays' can be a bit of an expandable term, depending upon how far away those days are ;0)
